\n11th KIKI \u2013 INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FOR CHILDREN<\/p>\n

11 KIKI \u2013 me\u0111unarodni festival dje\u010djeg filma odr\u017eava se u kinima u Krapinskim Toplicama, Zaboku i Krapini od 8. do 14. listopada 2022. godine u organizaciji Dru\u0161tva \u201eNa\u0161a djeca\u201c Zabok i Gra\u0111anske organizacije za kulturu \u2013 GOKUL.<\/p>\n

Festival otvaramo inkluzivnim filmom\u00a0Nerazumijevalica <\/em>u kojem glume djeca i mladi s pote\u0161ko\u0107ama u razvoju.<\/p>\n

Na festivalu se prikazuju profesionalni igrani, dokumentarni, animirani i eksperimentalni kratkometra\u017eni filmovi namijenjeni djeci i mladima, a program je prema uzrastu publike podijeljen na filmove za pred\u0161kolsku dob (4 \u2013 6 godina starosti) i \u0161kolsku dob (7 \u2013 16 godina starosti). Kako bi se potakao razvoj aktivne filmske publike, s djecom se nakon projekcija organiziraju vo\u0111eni razgovori s filmskim edukatorima.<\/p>\n

Ove \u0107emo godine u pet natjecateljskih programa prikazati 30 filmova iz Australije, Belgije, Bjelorusije, \u010ce\u0161ke, Francuske, Hrvatske, Irske, Izraela, Ju\u017ene Koreje, Kine, Luksemburga, Kanade, Kolumbije, Njema\u010dke, Nizozemske, Novog Zelanda, Rusije, SAD-a, \u0160kotske, \u0160panjolske, \u0160vedske, \u0160vicarske i Velike Britanije, a o pobjedniku festivala, kojem se uz nov\u010danu nagradu dodjeljuje i trofej, odlu\u010dit \u0107e dje\u010dji \u017eiri sastavljen od \u010dlanova do 15 godina starosti.<\/p>\n

Uz sredi\u0161nji i glavni dio festivala \u2013 program projekcija u listopadu, 11. KIKI i ove je godine nudio niz pretfestivalskih doga\u0111anja. Tako je radionica\u00a0\u201eKako gledati film\u201c pod vodstvom filmske kriti\u010darke Vi\u0161nje Vuka\u0161inovi\u0107 odr\u017eana jo\u0161 u travnju, a polaznici i polaznice radionice u\u010dili su prepoznati razna filmska izra\u017eajna sredstva\u00a0te kako argumentirano napisati filmsku kritiku.<\/p>\n

Tijekom ljetnih praznika organizirali smo radionicu dokumentarnog filma pod mentorstvom vi\u0161estruko nagra\u0111ivanoga filmskog redatelja \u0110ure Gavrana, uz asistiranje studentice monta\u017ee Lucije Strugar.<\/p>\n

Radionica animacije naziva \u201eNa kraju ljeta\u201c odr\u017eana je po\u010detkom rujna pod vodstvom Jasminke Bijeli\u0107 Ljubi\u0107. Posjetili smo i Petrinju gdje smo u suradnji s Dru\u0161tvom \u201eNa\u0161a djeca\u201c Petrinja organizirali projekciju \u00a0i radionicu stop-animacije.<\/p>\n

Dio polaznika i polaznica ovih radionica odabran je za \u010dlanove i \u010dlanice dje\u010djeg \u017eirija koji svake godine izabire najbolje filmove festivala.<\/p>\n

Misija na\u0161eg festivala jest razvoj kulture gledanja filmova u ranoj dje\u010djoj dobi i podizanje vizualne pismenosti djece, s posebnim naglaskom na edukativne filmove koji djecu poti\u010du na razmi\u0161ljanje te koji razvijaju osje\u0107aj jednakosti u dru\u0161tvu.<\/p>\n

I ove smo godine iz recentne svjetske produkcije odabrali najzanimljivije i najkvalitetnije filmove za djecu i mlade, pa vas s veseljem pozivamo da po jedanaesti put zajedno u\u017eivamo u svim \u010darima \u0161to nam ih pru\u017ea sedma umjetnost!<\/p>\n

11th<\/sup> KIKI International Film Festival for Children will be held in cinemas in Krapinske Toplice, Zabok and Krapina, from October 8th<\/sup> until 14th<\/sup>, 2022, organized by the association \u201cNa\u0161a djeca\u201d (Our Children Zabok<\/em>) and Citizens\u2019 Association for Culture \u2212 GOKUL.<\/p>\n

The festival will be opened by a screening of the film Understandinglessness<\/em>, featuring children and youth with disabilities.<\/p>\n

The KIKI programme brings together professional feature films, documentaries, animated and experimental shorts for children and youth. The programme is divided with respect to age, into films for pre-school children (4 \u2013 6 years of age) and school-age children (7 \u2013 16 years of age). To encourage the audience to be more active, the screenings will be followed by discussions for children, moderated by film educators.<\/p>\n

This year’s edition brings five competition programs with more than 30 films, from, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech, Colombia, Croatia, France, Germany,\u00a0Ireland, Israel, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Scotland, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and USA. What is more, the winner will be decided by a jury of children aged 15 or younger. The author of the winning film will be given a cash prize, as well as a trophy.<\/p>\n

Alongside the film screenings planned for October (which make the central part of our Festival), we have also organized a number of pre-Festival events this year as well. Firstly, the workshop \u2018Ways of Watching Films\u2019, helmed by film critic Vi\u0161nja Vuka\u0161inovi\u0107, was held in April. The kid attendees learned there how to identify the various film-specific means of expression and write a well-argued film review.<\/p>\n

For this summer break, we organized a four-day documentary film workshop with award-winning film director \u0110uro Gavran as the mentor and editing student Lucija Strugar as his assistant.<\/p>\n

An animated film workshop titled \u2018The End of Summer\u2019 was held in September, mentored by Jasminka Bijeli\u0107 Ljubi\u0107. We also visited Petrinja, where we organized the screening and stop animation workshop in collaboration with Na\u0161a djeca <\/em>association.<\/p>\n

Some of the girls and boys who attended these workshops are now invited to the Festival to be members of this year’s children’s jury, in charge of selecting the best films.<\/p>\n

The aim of the KIKI festival is to nourish the habit and culture of film watching in children from an early age and to develop their visual literacy, with a special emphasis placed on educational films which inspire critical thinking in children and strengthen a sense of equality in society.<\/p>\n
